For the Institute of Global Health in Geneva, we have created a system for recognition of 783 snake species from more than 100 countries. Future integration of such a system into a mobile application should help to diagnose the right species better and prevent human casualties. Our system integrates Image Recognition with other metadata such as GPS coordinates, date and time.

Varroa destructor is a parasite that lives on Bees and may lead to the death of a whole honey bee colony. Since Varroa are hardly recognisable by beekeepers eyes, creation of an assistant system for their detection may prevent significant mite infestation. To support that, we have created an automatic Computer Vision-based system for Varroa destructor detection. Our system works as a Stand-Alone REST API integrated into the ProBee.cz platform.
